Default front mount intercooler

i've been offered a HKS front mount intercooler for my newage STI for £500 brand new.

is it worth it and what power gains would i recieve?

small bhp gain really . what mods have you already got ? and what are your plans in terms of what power you want to get from your scoob ? i would stick with top mount as its good for 350 , anything more would then go for front mount also think it will need a re-map once fitted ?
i would spend that money on an exhaust system if u havent got one?
but i think thats good price for hks and front mounts do look the dogs too

HDi(Hybrid) are mostly used on high powered build and for good price too or Japspeed is good too if you are looking for cheap and effective route(against STi TMIC).
Gains yes will be,but this mainly depends on mapper and your supporting mods(turbo,injectors etc)

You will need also as above said tweak/remap.
