which eingine fits my Sti Ver3?
Hi mates. I have a problem. The engine of my Impreza Sti Ver3 is defect (bottom and heads). I have looked for a new sti ver3 engine but did not found any.
What can I do now? Can i use a engine of another version? I don´t know. Maybe you can help me.

Its only the STi Version 3~4 you can use as a direct replacement with the same internals (HF Forged Pistons and Sti heads).
What is wrong with your cylinder heads ?? If they are warped due to overheating,then they can be skimmed/machined by 0.012" (0.30mm) to reclaim them.
If you can save the heads then you could use the STi Version 5/6/7 bottom end with the appropriate head gaskets to keep the Compression Ratio correct.

One piston knocked out the valves of one cylinder. I cant use the head anymore.
Which gasket would I need if i buy the block of a ver 5,6 or 7? Where can i get new heads?
