Default Cracked uppipe. Fixable?

Hello,

I've just started re-wrapping my Scoobysport (non-flexible) uppipe and notice that it has a crack around the rim (ooh err!).

The crack is outside of the gasket and doesn't intrude into the inside of the exhaust. It seems to be where the flange connects to the pipe. I guess wear and tear from all the expansion/contraction over the years.

As it's stainless steel I presume it can still be re-welded, but is it worth it?

Pictures soon!

It can be welded but make sure there's no debris left inside or it can make a mess of your turbine wheel.
