Eibach-ARK won't fit a Classic GC8! Why???

Eibach-ARK won't fit a Classic GC8! Why???
Hi!
Bought an Eibach Anti-Roll-Kit here and wanted to mount it today.
Does anyone have this kit and can tell me why the hell the front anti-roll-bar is too long???
I tried and tried but it just won't fit.
The part number says it is the right one for my car > MY98 WRX Classic Wagon.
The Eibach-bar is about one centimeter longer!
Can anyone help me with this problem please?

Thanks mate! Not sure if that's enough extra room. The seller told me the kit came from a MY98 Classic. How can the bar be too long then???
