well let me put it this way my heatshield was cut in half (neatly) to make way for de-cat downpipe as im getting a turbo blanket i didnt need it anymore.
A guy who brought to the garage his 2006 sti was also in for a downpipe so to save time i took my heatshield off and gave it to him and it fitted perfectly.
