Hi there,

I have a 2002 WRX and I have an STi intercooler (plus scoop and undertray) to fit.

Does anyone have any suggestions regarding what hoses I should be using? I've taken a quick look, and it currently has the blue Prodrive hoses from the PPP, but these are a slightly different diameter compared to the hoses on the new STi intercooler. Is there a recommended set of hoses that will fit both the STi intercooler at one end and the TD04 at the other?

Your STi intercooler should have come with the alloy "Y" pipe and hoses, ask for them from whoever you bought it off

It did come with a red hose from the Y pipe, but it looks a bit damaged, so I wanted to get a new one. Also the diameter of that hose is larger than the old one, and yet it will be connecting to the same turbo. Is this ok?

As I now have the scoop, undertray and intercooler all ready to fit, I'd like to re-ask the question.

I don't mind buying new pipes, but surely the fitting on the TD04 turbo is the old WRX pipe size, while the other end on the STi intercooler is the larger STi size. What is recommended here?

Afaik the pipe you have will be fine im not sure about diameter difference but if there is any it should clamp up ok anyway,here's instructions if you need them.
