Default Calling all Type R owners...

Looking to change the gearbox oil and diff oil in my V5 Type R Ltd. The car has the R180 diff and the usual DCCD. I'm looking at putting some Motul Gear 300 fully synthetic 75/90 in both the diff and gearbox. I read a post on here that said even though the R180 is a limited slip diff (LSD), it doesn't need "LSD" oil as its not a plated diff. Is this true and would you use the above oil, as its recommended by Oilman, for both the diff and DCCD gearbox?
Would appreciate your input.
Here's the link to above oil:

The R180 on a Type R IS plated and you must use a LSD oil.

Taylor, I'm 99.99% sure you need a straight 90 LSD oil for the rear diff, same as my Spec C although even with that in there it's still not exactly quiet either.

Ahh this is getting confusing! Are you sure Ty? I did read a debate about using straight 90, but that was for newage cars. I spoke to David at API and he said to just use any decent 75/90. But then Oilman said that Motul 300 works best with the DCCD box. Now i'm a little unsure which oil to get for the diff, the only thing certain seems to be that it does need an LSD oil.

Good shout Glen, I'll PM him. I've taken Ty's assurance on the straight 90 LSD oil and ordered some Silkolene LSD 90, if i turns out to be wrong, I'll give it to "The Moose" as thats what he runs in his EVO 4RS rear diff.

Cheers Rickya, i did for the gearbox oil. He didn't advise me direct, it was advice he posted on another thread that came up on a search. He didn't post any recommendations for the R180 diff though, just the gearbox. What grade did he advise you for yours?
