Default Boost issues contiued...

I posted earlier about my cars boost dropping from 1.2 to 0.7 bar. On further investigation I found the up pipe to turbo and head to manifold gaskets were missing so thought I have found the problem as the exhast had started to blow.

However I have driven it today and I can get up to 0.9 bar now in 5th at about 5000rpm. But if I drop to 4th it makes about 0.85 at 5000rpm then drops to 0.8 when you go over this.

i'm not convinced the headers aren't still blowing on one side but was just after opinions please as I'm rapidly running out of things to check...

Re did the headers - no difference, removed the pipe to the turbo actuator and blocked that off, still cant make more than 0.8 bar. HELP!! No ECU codes flashing up either

Sounds like it's running actuator pressure only. Make sure the actuator to boost solenoid pipe isn't blocked. The restrictor hole is very small.

But if I block off the pipe to the actuator the boost should in theory go sky high which would rule out the boost solenoid in this case as it still stays at 0.8.
