Question

Right! I have just bought a UK95 with 18ins BK121's, Blitz SpecR full system & a blitz boost-gauge....i've skinted myself 'good-style' but am gagging for a bit more power. I thought a bleed valve might do the trick ?

What is the maximum boost I can run safely with no chip.....it is currently running roughly 0.9bar.

Any help PLEASE !

At the mo, I'm running 1 bar boost with no probs. Was told that this is a safe amount, but you'll find it changes practically every year I currently have a 94wrx with a GReddy boost controller, Nur SpecR and d/p, HKS induction. Last time I had it properly dyno'd it was kicking out 270bhp, but that was with a different zorst and no d/p or optimax, so should be a tad more, certainly feels like it
Hope this helps?

Question

Nice one that helps a bit, but I've been told that it is safe to run the boost as high as it will go before the ECU fuel cut off switch(ECUFCOS)? kicks in, this to me would mean the engine would be running too lean.......there is a MY99 on 'www.22b.com/own_lee.htm' that had a bleed valve fitted, the boost was running @ (max = 17psi) & (held = 16psi) before the (ECUFCOS)? kicked in...is this because it is a newer model ?
