Question TD05 won't fit??

I'm having real trouble fitting my front entry converted TD05 into my bugeye??

It looks like the water lines and/or the lug on the housing that holds the hard oil line, fouls the engine?

Has anybody come across this before or has any suggestions on how to get the bloody thing to fit correctly??

Cheers

Ben

Take the water feed pipes off your old turbo and switch them over on to your converted unit as they are at slightly different angles, dont worry about snapping the thin piece of metal that holds the 2 water pipes together on your old td04.

Cheers for the advice all...

bugeyejohn, I'm fitting a de-cat up pipe as well so this could be problem. I removed the up pipe from the top of the car so i also took out the 2 brackets that hold the up pipe to the block. I may have put these on incorrectly? Should i tighten the up pipe to the manifold first, then tighten the up pipe to brackets then add turbo? And what is the best way to insert the turbo (e.g. oil return feed first, intake hose next, drops onto up pipe studs...)?

Midnight, I may have to do this, are the two set of water line definitely the same? The TD05 lines look wider and banjo bolts look larger?

Finishing this off tomorrow, i hope i can get it sorted!

Cheers

Ben
