Default IMPREZA RUNING PROBLEM HELP

HI i haVe a 95 import wrx all standard apart from a exhaust.i replaced timing belt saturday and car started fine but only ran it for 5 minutes then left it till yesterday.took car out sunday and when it got warm it started missing all over the place,it wouldnt tick over and was hard to start but when it did start it was runing on 3 cylinders.i checked fault codes and it showed maf sensor.i left car till this morning and done a ecu reset,i started car and it ran spot on with no faults then as it got hot it started missing again but when i reved it above 3500 rpm it clears itself and runs on 4 cylinders.i checked fault codes again and its saying everything is fine.i cheked the timing and 2 pulleys were 1 tooth out, would this cause me this problem or could itstill be maf even there is no code showing now.i will be redoing timing in the morning.
