In a my99 running standard boost what colour spring should you use? Also any shims needed? It's a vta dump valve, I know that's fighting talk on here, lol.

Hi mate, My forge had a red spring in when i bought it and hardly made a noise, I paid £10 and got a yellow one,I didn't put any shims in either, Sounds great,much better. Mine is a standard uk turbo. Hope this helps mate

 

That is helpful mate, mine has the blue one in at the moment, I am only running standard boost & havent a clue which spring or how many shims to use!!!
