Default Different Types of Oil Filters
Are all Subaru oil filters the same ?

I noticed a buddy's WRX is fitted with a light blue coloured oil filter instead of the usual black colour oil filter as he claimed all oil filters are the same. It is marketing strategy to make WRX owners pay more for the black oil filters.

Any comments, gents..

There's nothing 'wrong' with the OEM Subaru one - don't mess around with the VERY important service items IMO.
