Default help with 94 wrx issue

Having a few issues with my early wrx,
removed the dawes device as came loose and feel apart couple weeks ago and fitted the 3port back on all the correct way and the pill is in there,

Today i went over to my mates and went up a bypass so gave the car a handful but it was laggy in every gear, like 4k before hitting 1bar then pulled hard to around 7k when im still using std slanty i/c and td05, i don't believe it has a boost leak as it sits at a constant -0.6 on vacuum and no idle problems sitts at 1k,
i have a hks ind kit on and can here the car starting to spool at 2k ish.
then on the way home after a few 2nd/3rd hard gear changes to see if the same thing as still happing the management light popped up saying code 42 idle switch,
The idle control valve came up few weeks back so removed that and cleaned it out then reset the ecu all fine,
also noticed that coming on boost hard in 3rd threw the rev range it only hit standard boost levels but in 2nd reached a bar, but surley a chipped ecu should be making 1.1-1.2bar?

any surgestions please??
my questions are-
Were is the idle switch?
Any suggestions why the car is being laggy?
The car feels lazy when wanting some to go for it,
i had the car rolling roaded 4/12/10 with the same mods and chipped Ecu but running with a dawes device set at 1bar, the car spooled nice and pulled fine threw the revs, there isnt a dump valve either never had one fitted,

Code 42, idle switch is actually cured by adjusting the throttle position sensor. TPS voltage should be between 4.4V and 4.7V at idle.

The difference between a manual boost controller and a stock/almost stock map in boost response is very large, you probably think the boost response is too slow because you were used to the response with the MBC.

set the tps up and all fine and Eml has gone off,
going to run a after-market boost controller again as noticing that the 3port isn't controlling the boost as much as i had hoped,

but all good now thankyou.
