hi,ive not had the scooby long,stupidly bought it with the speedo not working,ive had a garage check it over the sensor has three wires coming out of it,a red with black stripe,a black,and a white,now the trouble being at some point somebody had been at the wiring and i dont know why,but now the speed sensor wires are just cut and disconnected,but theyve trimmed the loom right back to the bulk head and there is only two wires from this to the sensor,so were confused to as where has the third wire gone?? as the garage said there would be live,earth,and the pulse,so why has the loom only two wires? whats missing? can anybody please help as its put the car into limp mode also,thanks again,
