Question Hesitation under full throttle

Hi - MY99 - pulls cleanly on part throttle, ticks over smoothly etc - but when hitting WOT there's a hesitation/wobble. Have changed the fuel filter as that was overdue. Any ideas? No check engine light and the MAF is reasonably new. Could it be plugs, coil pack or what? Any ideas most appreciated.

This happens to me at the track. Once it drops below half a tank of fuel I get a split second hesitation when flat out - out of corners. Guys there said I either needed a fuel pressure regulator or an uprated fuel pump. I'm in a 2007 Hawk but I have heard of this in various models. So far as I know, an uprated fuel pump is a standard part of a stage 1 engine upgrade. (Air filter, exhaust, fuel pump and remap).

Called 'fuel surge', usually happens with less than a quarter of a tank during hard cornering.

either keep it above a quarter of a tank or get a baffled tank or swirl pot set up.

Have a Walbro pump so hopefully not a knackered pump. Do feel like it's a fueling issue though. Only other clue is that if I put a can of injector cleaner in (Wynns or STP) it does seem to be better. Placebo effect maybe or clogged injectors? Would have thought they would cause a problem all the time?

Try resetting the ecu first, give the boost solenoid a clean and if still doing it look at plugs/ leads.
