Default my 98 knocking noise

my 98 wrx, when setting off theres a knocking coming from around the bulkhead (under dash, middle of car, above top of gear box) area...

it only does it when your setting off.. sounds a bit like a bush has gone or something (metal to metal noise).. anyone any ideas?
