Default FM Radio wont work on my new stereo :(

Hi everyone,
I installed a new Pioneer AVH-3200DVD today and all works fine except I cannot get any signal on the FM or AM radio, as if the antenna isn't connected.
The aerial is connected in the back of the stereo but was wondering if there was anything else I needed to do?

Any suggestions?

Cheers
Vern

You sure it's a UK model? Not USA/China?

It's a European model despatched from the UK so I'm guessing so :/

And everything else works?

Is there a reset button?
You HAVE got the ariel extended?
Did the previous set's radio work?

What is the DISPLAY doing when you select radio?

Yes everything else works, there is no reset button, the aerial is built into the car somehow. Im not sure if it's powered or anything. It's a 2005 Impreza wrx and yeah the old stereo worked before. The display says it's on a certain frequency and I can search for stations but all I get is static :s
