Did V4 Sti Type R's come with the R180 diff and 2 pots calipers etc at the rear as standard? I never realised but after having the car in at a garage they were saying it must have had a V5 or V6 diff etc put on the back at some point?

 

Garage is talking ****e. They came with it as standard. All type r's had the r180 the version 3 had a single pot sliding rear caliper though.

 

Cheers Daz just checking the rear calipers do look fairly new to be fair but was just after confirmation as I wouldn't have thought either of the 2 previous UK owners would have had it swapped as they had done nothing else to the car as far apart from an exhaust an grooved discs.

 

all as standard on the v4 type r.
