Default FMIC QUESTIONS

I am fitting a front mount intercooler this weekend.
I currently have the RCM induction kit and alluminium spun trumpet, I have been told that this may not be able to be used with the front mount as the pipes run too close and the bonnet will foul on the air filter, can anyone shine any light on this before I start ?
Also running a TD05 18G, thinking of ditching the dump valve, is just a case of blanking the port of the intercooler and the vacuum pipes which currently go to the DV ?
I am getting it re mapped afterwards, because there are other things which have been installed also.

I have the RCM spun trumpet with the shorter K&N cone they supply I think its 170? If its the same cone you have then on mine it sits on top of the FMIC pipe an would foul the bonnet however I installed a mini scoop on that side which the cone sits perfectly up inside it, also means it'll be enjoying sucking the cold air straight in.
I kept the standard dump valve on with the FMIC.

Yes to remove the dv just blank off the holes and vacum pipe.
