I have a 2002 bugeye,is there a decent decat down pipe I could fit?,also if I plug the lambda sensor hole,will it do any harm?.what power gain could I expect?.I understand it would prib have to be replaced for mot etc

Downpipe cat is the most restrictive part of the exhaust. Removing the cat will provide a substantial gain in power with a remap. The 2nd cat may be sufficient to pass an MOT if it it sufficiently warmed up .

I already have a cat back 3" s/s sports exhaust,so might try the down pipe next.is it a big job?
