Default first start after rebuild

any advise on the first start after a rebuild i no i have to fill the filter up with oil but just wondering what the best way to prime the engine so i dont cause any damage..what i need to remove ect any adice would be much appriciated

HI dooby-do.
take spark plugs out and disconect crank sensor. turn over till oil light goes out. , then plugs back in and sensor, and fire her up.

when u say oil light i take it you mean the oil light on the dash i wont be fireing it up until next week as waiting for oil pressure gauge and few other bits

yes, oil pressure light. You can just disconect the crank sensor. Turn it over on key til pressure light goes out, then away you go.
