Which size vacuum hose...
Hello all,
I have a slight hesitation when accelerate up to 3k revs and when on full boost my gauge seems to go haywire and read upto 1.4b !
I can't see any holes or splits in any pipes so for the price of vacuum hose I was gonna replace the lot with new silicone pipes as they seem a bit hard and in-flexible.
I've had a quick look but can't decide whether the inner diameter is 3 or 4mm on the hoses - and if doesn't matter which would you guys recommend ?
The car is a standard, un-modded UK Turbo '00YM.
Thanks in advance,

I had to replace a few lengths of vacuum pipe as mine was hard and brittle.
I got some 4mm Samco from Merlin motorsport.
1 metre length was £3.42.
Fitted a treat.
That was on a JDM V3 STi.

Yeah 3 or 4mm I.D. - I don't think it matters TBH.
Secure the hose unions at nipples/ports with cable-ties. That's what API do (makes total sense). The last thing you want is any BCS vac pipes coming adrift, upstream of the w/g, whilst "on one"!!! Overboost, ergo melted piston city!
