Default Oil low and a puff of blue smoke

Hi all.

Notices my oil is a bit low it's just above the "L" mark, so I'm not running it just incase, which oil should I top it up with? I have some Mobil 10w-40 semi-synthetic "super s high performance" oil would I be ok to just top existing up with this?
Also, noticed when i start it abit of Blue smoke comes from exhaust for 3 seconds or so, and if I'm going down a hill I'n 3rd gear say a bit of smoke comes out. Any ideas

How long since you last checked your oil? depends a lot on how quick its used this oil? 10/40 semi is ok for a top up. What did it have put in there at the last oil change?

I checked my oil 3 week ago and it was near the "F" now it's just above the "e"
Not sure what oil it was I'n before as I've only had the car 2 -3 months.

Think you should be getting more like a 1000 miles to 1 litre.

lol come to think of it its been a bit longer since i checked it, and infact ive done over 400miles .

What could be the cause for it using oil?
It stutters when accelerating at about 2.5k revs, and its only boosting to 0.6bar
