fuel pump is priming does this mean its defo working or could it still be priming but faulty? thanks in advance

 

nobody willing to give me some info then ?? thats 2 post i have put up only to get no replys..

 

it can prime but that does not mean it is actually much pressure behind it,
for instance my standard oe pump primed but was only producing 7psi instead of about 50 psi,my car started then stalled after few seconds .on removing the fuel supply hose it seemed visually to supply enough but when a gauge was fitted to the filter outpipe only read 7 psi .
fitted a walbro now and no issues.

 

nice one mate cheers i thought it could still prime but not produce enough pressure but i wasnt to sure..
