Splitting gearbox/engine quick reply needed!

Any easy ways to split apart the above?? The dowels seem rusted?Thanks for any help.

I have just changed clutch and made up this bracket assembly. This stopped the engine tipping forward as I jacked up the gearbox and help separate the dowels with the help of a 600mm jemmy.
