Default Abs diagnostic help please.

Hi everyone i have the abs light on my 2004 wrx i have recently purchased an ELM327 obd2 cable to connect the car for engine checks was just wondering if this can be used in some way to diagnose my abs too. many thanks in advance

Hi i have still not managed to get this sorted yet took it to a friend at a bosch service center whi said he should be able to read the fault but in the end he couldnt so still stuck been told its got to go to the dealer is this correct or does any one know any one in peterborough area who might be able to help many thanks steve.

Most of those readers only give you a fault code, you need the dealers diagnostic machine which interrogates the sensors and that will point to the faulty one.

Hi there you are need Launch Monitor which using dealers which will diagnose problem(last time i was paid £40) or you can do via cables under steering column...
