Default type r question

Looking at buying a type r but heard the engine aint the strongest be told about 350 is limit of reliability but what is the weak point in the engine if i pushed for 400 on standard engine what would be my limiting factor ?

clutch is not a problem easy to replace what the options for boxes ?

A new one once yours breaks LOL! If you swap the box for one of a differing model/year then the ancillaries need to be done too, i.e. the rear diff has to match the ratios of the box.

6 speed out the Bugeye STi is good, mate of mine has one in his 400/400 UK classic 2.5 conversion

Cheapest option is a V6 STi DCCD box.
