hi people got the standard airbox on, oil and spark plugs changed car was running nice and smooth the next day started from cold and it jerks propa bad and wont go pass 4000 revs but once driven for a bit it is ok like that everyday any ideas what it can be.its a 1993 wrx import

If it was mapped to an induction kit and 7b plugs and you have put the airbox back on along with 6b plugs then that could be the problem.

i dont no if its mapped with an induction kit but i used the same plugs and its got a z4 ecu the mechanic was having trouble changing the plugs maybe ones not in properly

Take the spark plugs out, makesure gaps are right, and are all in correctly.
I would also check coil packs for any cracks and general condition.
If it wont rev past 4000 then it must be something quite obvious.
Also make sure your maff and air box is all sound.
should be one of them mate.

hi people the cars still the same running lumpy and juderring when started up after a short while it s ok.i changed the plugs to the same one but dont no how to gap them and put 5 litres of new oil in when changing oil any suggestion

Sounds like a sensor. You need to get it on a diagnostic machine, that will give you
an error code which should tell you the problem.

theres no lights on dash was fine before

Did you put the full 5 litres of oil in? thats too much

As above, maybe too much oil and causing 'misting' of the MAF wire which would cause fueling issues.

I could be wrong and it is sth else - but pretty sure should only be 4.5 Ltrs at max.

yeah hi mate left it with my local mechanic who told me he put all five litres and changed the spark plugs it was fine on the way home next day it was missing,judering,feels weak but got better after bout ten minutes driving since then havnt been driving it much dont no were to start from no lights on dash starts fine

I really would drop some oil out of it mate coz 5 is to much .won't do your car any good.
