Hi all, I have a wierd noise at low revs (about 1.5k to 2k) its like a vibration or an induction sort of noise but more like a vibration, it seems to be coming from around the turbo/cat area of the car or even the gearbox. Please help its doing my head in

 

Hey chap, if it's rev-specific I would check your heat-shields are secure. Theres one around the turbo and one around the clutch reservoir. Also there is a pressed steel piece under the intercooler above where the gearbox mates to the engine. Don't ask me what it's there for, just noticed it when I had the intercooler out at the weekend
