forged pistons
sti8 has forged pistons as standard but 9 are cast, what about sti v7 are they forged and if so why are 9 not? was just reading another post with a rebuild and picked up on this?

New car = belt and braces, mine is a 2002 model and it came with a 256 kph speed limiter, I guess because "they" didn't want stories of young kids doing 170 mph in them.
Yes the V7 has forged pistons, mine is running >2 bar of boost at over 400 bhp.

P.S. Cost cutting by the importers is why we get lower spec. cars than the Japs.
