Jacking points x4
Where are the offical jacking points on a classic ?
I have just removed all 4 wheels,my drive is slightly slopped so that doesnt help,so maybe i cannot use the standard points, but where does everyone use ?
i tried a few places but had a few scary moments (never did last time i did this but hey)
basically,at the rear on both sides i did it on the bottom of the hub, where the tie rod mounts, its a nice thick piece of steel.
on the front i did it on bolt area of where the front wishbone attaches to the chassis, both places hard to explain where i mean LOL
i used the trolley jack on the rear diff as extra support
i found if i left axle stands on the sill area where you use the originl jack,it bends the sill
if only 1 wheel is being removed then i guess theres many places, but if all 4 wheels being removed like i just did, where do you do it,wahay
