Saving up - Engine Rebuild
Currently my Bug STi has done 87k give or take and seems fine. However I don't want to end up one day needing a re-build with no money set aside, or any clue what spec to build it too.
So what would be advisable to add into a basic re-build, and what's the likely cost? Power wise I'm planning to get it mapped as soon as it's fixed (it's in AWD with a gearbox problem) so it would need to handle up to 330 ish as per the standard STi engine, but having the scope in the engine to go higher would be good

Enginetuner 2.1 !
Bottom end only is abourt £2.5K, add headwork and ancillaries and yours will be good for 500 bhp.

P.S. Mine is >400 bhp std, and >2 bar of boost, and dying due to it !

Thanks guys
Doesn't look like I'll be having any fun in it for a while anyway. Some of the bushings needed for the gearbox problem won't be in stock until the end of the month so it is sat dead at AWD until then.
