Without doubt gus,if you don't it will hold oil temps low for alot longer from starting cold and when slow driving.

If it's staying as a road car, then just whip the whole lot off during the winter. I do !

If you went FMIC and put the oil cooler where the TMIC was, at the top of the engine, would the heat from the engine balance the problem out or would you still have to amend it in some way in the winter?

Cooler is a thermex uk made one gettin a mocal thermostatic take off from advanced automotive and making pipes up from torquesuk of eBay all i'n should be about 150 all on and done cooler was 40 sandwich plate 50 and about 70 on pipes job done

YES! oil cooler must be thermo controlled, no ifs or butts
