Default forge recirc bov

Hey guys, ive just bought a used forge recirc bov, does it matter which way round it goes, ie ie: inlet and out let? And also which tuning spring is recomended? I have all 4 springs and shims. It will be replacing a hks ssqv vta and the car is a 98 jdm wrx. Any help would be great, thanks, dan

If i remember correctly ,on your forge recirc valve ,1 of the alloy pipes is longer than the other. The longer pipe connects to the rubber hose going to your intercooler, the shorter one goes to the tube back to your inlet tract,Then dont forget your vacume hose which iirc is situated on the top unlike the oe plastic unit which is on the side. If the car is std i would start off with the softest spring and see how it runs & add the shims only if you feel you have to.

Ok, thanks, ill give that a go. Would flow direction actually effect it as technically its just an open/close valve!?
