Hi

Yesterday I was giving my car some stick and noticed the Engine light started flash, I held off the power for a while and it just went out.

I have checked it with a code reader today and no error code has been stored so i`m at a loss to what the issue was or is.

Has anyone experienced this ? If so what is it ?

Oh I forgot to say its a 52 plate wrx bug wagon, stainless stell exhaust with k&n panel filter at present.

Just been serviced about 200 miles ago, Only other time the light has come on is when the o2 sensor went about 4/5 month ago. Seems to be running the same as before no issues as far as I can tell.

 

a guy had a similar issue on here with a wrx and it was his Dump Valve

Probably me. Indeed the aftermarket DV's have caused an issue apparently. Changing back to OE DV didn't, in the end, cure the problem. The car had generated the following code 20B1 <no code>. This didn't show up on my
ECUExplorer either. Had this code disabled now down at EngineTuner. Modified ROM file supplied by ECUTEK.

Have you had a remap done?

 

no remap fella no, Ive never noticed it before but after flogging it a little the light flashed its never done it before and wasnt sure if to worry about it or not.
