What things are best to get for performance, Iam thinking of remapping it and upgrading the fuel pump and injectors, which ones are best to get?

As above, we need to know model and year, current mods if any, and what you are going to use it for.

If it's an older model, it's quite likely you'll be told to do the brakes first, then the suspension before gaining any power.

Hi,

Same car as me, I bought mine a year or so ago totally standard. I bought the following :

Green Cotton Air Panel Filter @ £30 Re Usable
Decat Centre section @ £40 on ebay, plus always people selling them on here
Prodrive Backbox or rear box of your choice, I paid £100 for a Prodrive one on ebay
Prodrive Silicon Intercooler Y-Pipe @ £25 on ebay

Then I had my car remapped by Duncan @ RaceDynamix @£350 Duncan uses open source mapping software so is slightly cheaper than the guys who do ECUTek which is usually around £650 a remap.

Mine mapped to 1.4 bar and had 39k miles on it so should be seeing around 275 bhp now with Similar Torque. It depends on mileage and wear and tear on the turbo which will run out of puff at about 280 - 290 bhp again depending on what day is was built

If that doesnt do it for you then add a decat downpipe, uppipe, bigger injectors and a bigger turbo, you should see over 300 bhp but safe levels for gearbox and engine on the WRX is under the 350bhp mark I have been lead to beleive.

Mine is certainly quick enough for me, certainly as a daily driver who likes the occaisonal blast in the country. But you will have to upgrade your brakes too as you tend to catch things up alot quicker than before after a remap.

Hope this answers your question.
