Hi, ive developed what i first just thought was a rattle around the steering column in the cabin. But now thinking could be a relay chattering!!
Its not present all of the time and is more frequent when driven hard. Ive removed the lower plastic cover and checked for possibilities but all seems secure.( what relays located here?)
Anyone had a similar problem or just any ideas? cheers

Hey mate,I have a very similar problem on my 52 plate WRX,intermitant rattle when car is at idle,deffo in the same area around the steering column,a pain in the **** to find as every time I get a chance to have a look it doesn't do it,did you get any info back?cheers

Still a rattling.. It doesnt do it all the time, some journeys i hear nothing others it infuriates me. Gets louder going round a LH corner for some reason!
Gonna be something daft i reckon.

I only notice mine on idle,or if I get a judder on the clutch and that varies,only started after I had the clutch replaced,which pisses me off even more ! I guess its just a case of keep looking, I'll let you know if I find out what it is!

had a same problem before and found the culprit to be the relay of the auto spray intercooler

Just had my clutch replaced too.. spooky! Not got auto spray on mine, just on or off.

Rattle found!!! It was the downpipe heatshield touching the steering column and vibrating. Must of been disturbed when clutch was replaced..
