Default gutted gutted gutted td04 not 05/vf34

after my previous post about my remap i emailed bob rawle with a few questions.
told him what i was running, what i had ready to fit and what he thought id achieve after remap? and was really pleased with what he told me
then i went up the garage with the rest of the club sunday and while looking and talking it was pointed out that my turbo was the standard td04 and not what i was told by hyeline performance (went there once after i bought the car to get it checked)

now its put me back another month/payday to get a new turbo b4 remap
gutted

so!! my question is what turbo? where to get it from and how much please?

car 2001 wrx bugeye
sti intercooler, blitz ind kit, bailey dv,550 injectors, full decat exhaust and down pipe, stainless manifold and uppipe, lightweight pulleys, modified uprated oil pump and water pump, cam belt (thinking about parrallel fuel rails)
thanks in advance tyrone

Evening, I'd go for a VF34 or 35 - the 34 would be my first choice but the 35 is a worthy choice as well.

There's plenty of VF35's for sale on here usually as well as eBay, if you go for a TD05 go for a 18g model but don't buy any of the new £300 eBay specials as they are pants and would probably give up the ghost quickly. In extreme cases they could destroy your engine.

If you want a new TD05 18g then contact Harvey on here as he builds very good units.

Hi there best turbo suited for 2.0 WRX is VF30,VF34 or VF35 prices are around for VF30-£250-£300,VF35-£250-£300,VF34-£350-£550 and if you are go for TD05-16G(genuine) or TD05-18G(genuine),you will pay around £500 mark...

Td05-16g from early wrx, then either buy a front entry converted compressor housing or get yours converted. Cost, £170 all in, maybe less if you can get a bargain td05. That's going to be your cheapest option for a good turbo that will prob give a bit more than a vf35.

Don't usually find vf35's less than £250.

td05 16g,vf34,v35 best options with standard air box in place

Get rid of Bailey DV and get standard OEM Airbox and you will be more benefited from this matey.
And you will need also STi TMIC....

As above about the headers, standard(OEM) ported and Harvey Up pipe will get this job, much better than eBay s...e
