RUSTY BOOT UNDER SPOILER

found this on my boot lid on my 2002 sti , it seems there are 2 little drainage channels under the spoiler and bootlid

as the pic shows mine is rotten

and needs re painted, has anyone seen this problem too

yeh got this on my classic. water sits around the holes in the boot for the spoiler. the edges of the holes dont have much protection and so they rust. then it spreads!
