On my 93 Wrx ive noticed when i get out after a gentle short or long drive my rad fans are on,
The temp gauge never goes past half way and warms up normally etc.
and also when standing over nite its a pig to start 1st time cranks then dies,
2nd time starts but pops and bangs and misses like a pig for around 5-10secs,
get lots of pops from the hks induction kit also.
i did a search and thought it could be the coolant temp sensor so changed this. and was fine with all the snow we had she started fine but haven't used the car for 2 months and now she is doing it again.

She drives fine normally and is runing stock ecu at .7psi at the mo!

any suggestions ?
The engine management light has never flicked up?
is it worth doing a Cel check even tho my management light hasn't come on would it show anything?
Could my maf be dying?

Any suggestions would be much great full !
