Default Loosing the back end

Hi guys, not sure what is happening but the back end of my 02 bug keeps stepping out at alarmingly low speed.....this has resulted in a spin on a roundabout already!!! The only thing I can see that could be a contributing factor is someone has changed one rear shocker has been changed and the other looks ok but the rebound could be different or anything, could anyone advise if this would be a good place to start? Cheers Newbie

Tbh the tyres are are not great I am thinking of changing them all, any ideas on what to go for? I have not had the tracking looked at, does that mean when you had your tracking set up correct it went worse?

Forget tracking..... it's a four wheel alignment you need to look at. Tyres (as suggested) as well as tyre pressures should be looked at as well.

Had you lifted off the throttle to induce a spin ?

1. Tyres, crap or incorrect pressures.
2. Worn wheel bearings ( rear ).
3. Knackered bushes.
4. Excessive rear toe-out/in.
5. Uprated rear ARB causing lift-off oversteer ?
6. Expecting too much of AWD in the wet ?
7. Diesel smeared bus route ?
