Default 06 dccd into a 99 type r

what is needed for the conversion ?

i know you need box, diff, prop, cradle and starter but what about drive shafts and hubs?

im lost with all this talk of male female stub axles and other s#1t i dont understand cause it changes from 05 onwards

some one help

You will need the stub shafts from an earlier 6 speed box and fit them to the 06 box, so you can reuse your front drive shafts.



You can can get all the bits needed from dealers

Can i not use the doner cars shafts?

Yes you can use all the driveshafts that match the diff and box and they will go straight into your hubs :-)

Ok so i have the gear in my possesion its from a spec d hawkeye and i will need to use all four 06 shafts? Or do i can i use my rears? The 06 shafts are they the correct length? I wanna start this tomorrow so if someone can get back asap

The 06 car will be wide track, so the shafts maybe slightly different so just re use your own

Just use the whole setup from the spec d mate as it's all newer and will all fit that gearbox, diff, prop, and driveshafts :-)
