how to check afm is working?
Hi,
I am rebuilding a 96 v limited that has the usual big end probs. It has only a blitz rear box and apexi air filter.
Reading through the forum there seems to be some issues with fitting intake kits and them fouling the afm's. Is there any way of checking the afm is still working?
regards
Daniel

You will need a multimeter and someone else to read the meter while you drive it.

You can probe it at the MAF end, or easier is by the ecu. Check the link above ^^^ to find out what terminal/connection block you need.
Oh and ignore the myth of 'with the engine running pull the plug on the maf, and if its any good the car will die straight away' cause its total bollox!
