If the car is left a day or so, the throttle seems to be sticking shut and needs a bit of a push to open. It doesn't appear to be the cable as the problem is there if opening the throttle at the throttle body itself.
Has anyone else experienced this problem and is there a way of lubricating the throttle spindle?
I now give the throttle pedal a push before switching on the ignition. Starting is unaffected, idle is fine and the stickyness disappears quickly once the engine is running.
