Default md321h or td05 20g?

how do i no what to look out for???
i mean, i could look on ebay and see prices that are much lower then dealers...
i want to no that i geting a decent turbo but not overpriced
i no a dealer is more trustworthy but why pay the extra on something that maybe exactly the same at a cheaper price!

im told MD321H series is the better turbo.
any other comments on this??

Jamie,

If you buy a new MD321H, it will be the same turbo regardless of who you buy it from.

The problem with buying a TD05-20G, is that you could buy 10 turbo's from 10 places, and each one could be different. This is because the original Mitsubishi parts are copied by various companies in China, Taiwan, etc', so it's hard to know what you're buying, ESPECIALLY on Ebay.

There are various people who supply genuine TD05-20G's, and they will be more reliable.

As for the main differences between the TD05, & MD321H, the H is based on the Garrett GT series ball bearing turbo's, and the 20G is based on the older sleeve bearing TD05.

Try speaking to your mapper, or some of the mappers on here, and they will give you a good idea of the pro's, & con's of both.
