Hi guys im wanting to change my speedo clocks on my impreza turbo 97 uk, they are the 1s with a cable but im wanting the electronic 1s in. Can this be done. Thanx

 

If your car has a cable driven speedo, you will need the wiring loom off a 98/00 car as they are electrically driven.

 

I've not done it myself, but have read that it's possible. It's a complete ball-ache, mind with loads of wiring changes, and it needs a new dash and surround, as the clocks are a different shape.

Easier to buy a 98 car.
