hi,
i have a 95 sti and changed the fuel tank, can anyone tell me where the 2 wires (on the passengers side top of the tank) go? i know they are to make the pump work for when fuel is low, but where do they connect to? and would they make the fuel gauge not work,

as far is know the fuel pump and sender wiring goes in on the drivers side of the tank it's 1 unit fuel pump and sender, 4 screws to remove cover then 8 8mm nuts to remove sender unit, take fuel cap off to release pressure and run car then unplug it till car runs out of fuel, will releieve furl pressure in lines

so are the 2 wire supposed to be connected to the fuel pump loom/plug along the top of the tank?

in the white plug on top of where the fuel pump is housed there is 4 wire's, power and ground for the pump and input and output for the sender, if i remember right it will be ground in and resited ground out via the sender to make the gauge move
