Got two of them on my alloy radiator on my track impreza... have no bother with them what so ever (have wired them up to a switch on the dash to turn then on and off when im driving)

I have two on my ka, with a v6 cramed into a small bay they were a god-send, they work really well, I have them on the radiator fan switch with a switch override on the dash, they particularly work well in traffic jams when it's hot, well, that one day a couple of years ago lol
