Default water pressure

my car had a wee the other day due to a split hose now the hose is fixed the car is always over heating and the pressure got so high it exploded the main water hose to rad.any ideas?

How far/how long did you run without water? Is it possible you've done the headgaskets?

im not sure the water temp didnt go up the car cut out then i realised

If the car has cut out then is overheated, temp gauge is not acurate with no water in the system, hopfully only an airlock in the system, does sound like head gasket tho
